The f***ing horse is too sad that it just gives up and gets sucked into the mud?! Seriously Artax…what horrible things have happened to you in your life to make you so sad? You’re a damn horse. Atreyu just lost his only friend in that swamp and /he/ somehow manages to keep a stiff upper lip. Cheer the eff up. Also, TIL that an extremely successful racing horse was named after Artax, and sadly he died earlier this year…not in a swamp though, in an equine hospital while being treated for colic.
